Yurodivy and I write family-friendly furry transformation stories, about coming to terms with who you are inside by becoming your fursona. Our stories abide by Virmir’s PG rating, and do not contain cross-gender, age-regression or graphic transformations.

What you get

Your story will be at least 5000 words long (about 10 or 11 printed pages). At our discretion it may include a free bonus worldbuilding document, with background information about the world that your story takes place in.

To ensure quality, your story will be beta-read by at least two other people before you receive the final draft. You will be given a preview halfway through writing your story, and you will be able to review the final version before it is published. You can ask for whatever additions or changes you like (within reason).

What we need from you

We’ll need you to tell us about yourself and your fursona, and whatever else you think would be helpful. We may ask to interview you over MSN or another IMing network, though you may decine if you like. If you have any links we can look at, like an online journal or art website account, that would also help us.

Feel free to send reference pics of your fursona, especially if you want one for your book cover (see below). Non-explicit pics only, please.

How long it will take

It will take at least 2 weeks to write your story, once interviewing and planning are finished. You can keep up with its progress by following the Identi.ca (it’s like Twitter) account of the writer that you commissioned.

How much it will cost

It costs $40 USD to commission me (Feathertail), and $20 to commission my mate Yurodivy. You are encouraged to donate more if you like; we need the money for living expenses, and the extra will help motivate us.

We reserve the right to refuse any request that we consider unreasonable. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, though. If you don’t like the story you get, we won’t publish it and you’ll get your money back.

If you’d like your story made into a book, I’ll compile one for you at no extra cost. You’ll have to pay Blurb the cost of printing and shipping (about $10 within the United States), and you’ll need cover art. Kenveevee has offered to draw a free picture for anyone who commissions me or Yurodivy, and you can ask him to draw a cover for you if you like.

The writer you commission will begin planning your story once payment is received, and will begin writing it once planning and all previous commissions are finished.
