Really enjoyed this one. Very realistic character who I felt for the whole way through. My only quibble would be the theme of liking wolves *so* much that you hide it-- while brilliantly executed and an essential part of the story here-- is a theme that played a major role in one of your stories before and that part of the story kind of felt like a rehash to me. Still though it was very well done, and I can see a lot of people feeling this way about their favorite animals. All said and done, great tale!
