well I have to say, excellent story, and its nice to hear about someone else who uses lucid dreams as a gateway to experience what they want.

I, personally, have become an anthro animal in my dreams, and fully-animal*, it's great fun and I hope other furries out there try it(its fun once you can do it regularly...). it takes some work to get lucid dreams to last more than a few seconds, but the more you try the longer they last, and the more realistic they become.

quick start guide for beginners (google lucid dreaming for a better guide, im just posting what I did)

get in the habit of doing 'reality checks' regularly throughout the day, like in the story, pinch your nose (and close you mouth) and try to breath, if you can, your dreaming. also, try pushing 2 finger into the palm of the opposite hand, in dreams your fingers tend to go thru your hand :P
also, try counting your fingers, if you have more/less than usual, you are definitely dreaming.

then after realizing that your dreaming (and become lucid) you have to try and stay calm, or you _will_ wake up. just sit/stand where you are and keep the thought that you are dreaming in your head, do not hold your eyes closed, you tend to wake up.**

after you can hold your lucid dreams for substantial amounts of time, you can try changing your body.
it is VERY hard to change it on command, I recommend 'finding'*** a potion, magic scroll, or a magician to change you. (believing is everything, if you don't, it wont work)

again I have to say, I love this story, and I wish that something like this would happen to me.
also, if you have any questions about this feel free to email me (superbob123abc@yahoo.com) I may/may not be able to answer you questions, but wikihow's 'how to lucid dream' page would be a better place to look, after all, its where I learned everything _I_ know about the subject.

*much more fun than being an anthro animal, but maybe that's just me.

**major warning here: you may wake up paralyzed, this is not permanent, its just what your body does while your asleep so you don't, yknow, move while your sleeping, this is natural and should wear off, but its scary as heck! (its happened to me a couple of times)

*** imagine the thing there, it helps to tell yourself what its going to do, and if your using the last method, be stern with the magician, he IS a figment of your imagination, don't let him make you think otherwise.

Well i hafta say, can't find stories like this around very often. Been in the fandom for a while and i kinda forgot why it was amazing to me. readin your bit on anthros and this story, well it rekindled the feelings i used to have for this kinda stuff, made me look on it differently again, like i used to. Superb story telling, good job judging reactions and feelings, the way he thought and such. We need more people like you. Hope ta see more from ya, here and on FA.
